Seamus Mullin-Norgaard has been a practicing teacher, mentor and spiritual guide to many for 20 years. His life path is ripe with adventures that have brought him near death, through grieving, and on to joy. He carries a deeper sense now that all of what life brings our way is transformative, and is here to be welcomed without regrets. Here’s how he can help you...
♦ Grounding, centering, restoring life’s balance
♦ Navigating transitions and life passages
♦ Finding your callings: career and relationship guidance
♦ Discovering and recovering your faith, your spiritual path
As a much sought out professor at North Central Michigan College, Seamus has mentored diverse students for 20 years through the trials, challenges, and joys of their lives. His classes have special experiential components that incorporate cultural and spiritual wisdom, effective communication techniques, and unique processes for personal healing. Seamus is also the owner and main facilitator for Tara’s Meadow retreat center on Beaver Island, Michigan, where for 16 years individuals have travelled for solace in nature, spiritual guidance and uplift, healing and self discovery. He brings all these talents to play as your personal life coach and spiritual mentor.
Testimonials
“Seamus, I want to thank you from the heart for this magical and rejuvenating experience. It’s exactly what my soul needed. Your wisdom, patience, and guidance has helped me to grow and strengthen my connection to the divine life force which connects us all. I look forward to my next visit.”
- Lori (counselor)
“When the student is ready, the master appears. Thank you for being my master for the day. The knowledge and wisdom taken from our day is priceless. I will ‘pass it on.’”
- Dee (Yoga instructor, after Celtic Body Prayers work)
“Seamus demonstrated great compassion and understanding, as well as skill in clarifying a particular issue. He patiently tolerated the unfolding of my awareness and inner struggles, and was accepting of my confusion and discomfort. He enthusiastically shared his wisdom and strategies, such as the 3-fold Path.“
- Susan (occupational therapist)
"I have worked with Seamus as a co-facilitator in personal growth groups, and I have repeatedly seen him demonstrate the three main skills of helping: creating safety, providing affirmation and empathy, and offering life-changing insights. He gives people hope in difficult times and helps them create the courage to find their way out, into new and fulfilling lives."
- Charlie Donaldson LPC LLP
Co-Director, The Men's Resource Center

“Seamus’ teaching and guidance is as it should be. He pushes where pushing is needed, and he gives me needed time alone to assimilate what I’ve experienced.”
- Rowan (tradesman)
“Seamus was the reason I ventured into Tara's Meadow. His ability to be honest, patient, and thoughtful about my experiences is something I am very grateful for. I needed someone to be both forthright and sensitive and I am so happy that Seamus has these abilities. Thank you!”
